Arun Mehta formally appointed Chief Secretary of J&K

Jammu, May 28:

Jammu and Kashmir on Friday formally issued orders of appointment of Arun Kumar Mehta IAS ( AGMUT) as Chief Secretary of J& K.
He succeeds BV R Subrahmanyam who has been appointed as officer on special duty in the department of commerce, Government of India.
Subrahmanyam’s orders were issued by the GoI on Thursday and on the same day , Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla had requested the LG Manoj Sinha to ask his government to issue orders of Mehta as new CS of J&K.
