Report of Covid-19: In the rising cases of the Covid-19 during the second wave, In Jammu and Kashmir, today 3532 cases of covid-19 are registered. 30 corona-positive patients died in past 24 hours. 18 doctors are among the corona-positive cases.

Covid-19 Vaccination for 18-45 group in J&K to begin later than May 1, There are 1.25 crore vaccines ordered

Jammu and Kashmir Government declared on Friday. The morning that the vaccination for the residents aged between 18-46 will not start on May 1 but will begin from a date to be announced later once the vaccine supply is established.

The government has ordered 12.5 million doses of vaccine that is the highest in the country.
This announcement has come a day before the vaccination for the age group of 18-45 was to begin on Saturday.

The announcement said: “ While the registration for vaccination of eligible persons in the age group 18-45 has been opened on COWIN, the actual vaccination will not begin from 1 May 2021.

It said: “ It will begin from a date to be announced later once the vaccine supply is established.

”The government has also clarified that the vaccination will not be a walk-in but only through pre-registration of slots . No slots have been opened for booking a session”.

It asked the people to wait for the announcement of the vaccination start date for the 18-45 age group.
