WHO IS AKSHAY PARKAR?
Akshay Parkar, a chef who has worked at five-star hotels and international cruises, lost his job amid the coronavirus crisis. Instead of resigning himself to fate, Akshay opened a roadside stall in Mumbai and began selling biryani to earn his livelihood.
Being Malwani, a Facebook page, shared Akshay’s story and pictures from his biryani stall. The caption, translated from Marathi to English, states that Akshay used to work at Taj Flight Services, and also with Princess Cruises for eight years. After he lost his job, Akshay opened a roadside eatery in Mumbai, where he sells biryani.
The post also mentions the address of his biryani stall and the price at which he sells his preparations.
