DGP Dilbag Singh reviews security situation in Sopore

Director General of Police Dilbag Singh reviewed security situation in Sopore on Friday and called for extra vigil as Pakistan is continuing with its nefarious designs.

During review meeting, the DGP said that the police have done exceptionally well in fighting terrorism but at the same time what should not be forgotten that “ enemy across the border is busy with planning and executing its nefarious designs in Kashmir via cyber world.”

This, he said , are enemy’s weapons to radicalise youth and then draft them into militancy.
The DGP was accompanied by I G Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar and DIG NKR Sujit Kumar.

The police chief has been touring all places in the Valley to get the latest feedback from the ground and accordingly shares the new strategies to be adopted to maintain peace and order.
