Lunar eclipse of 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the lunar eclipse will also be visible in the regions covering South America, North America, Asia, Australia, Antarctica, the Pacific Ocean, and the Indian Ocean.

In India, there are many precautions and customs (also known as Grahan Sutak) followed during Chandra Grahan(Lunar eclipse).
According to Hindu beliefs, the Earth’s atmosphere is polluted during Sutak and extra care should be taken to avoid any adverse side effects due to contamination.
