Importance of YOGA: There is a saying that “whatever happens, happens for good”. And we are hearing this since we came into our senses. And to be honest I really like and believe in this sentence because this saying boosts up my morale and give me some good positivity and hope in my life. Well, you all must be thinking about how this saying is related to the topic of the article. Well, this topic is the best example to prove this theory.
How the Importance of YOGA is related to COVID-19?
Well, we all are aware of the severe situations the whole world has faced and is still facing. Never ever anyone could have imagined of such a situation can also arise. This COVID -19 outbreak has taken a lot from humans.
When this pandemic of COVID-19 outbreak the whole world got disturbed. In between the outbreak, many other disasters also took place like flood, cyclone, earthquake, attack of grasshoppers, fire in the jungles etc.
When these things were happening around us I saw many people posting a statement that “Nature is Healing itself”. And it made me think of how pathetic we humans are, we were already knowing that we are taking for granted to the gifts given by our mother earth and still we were not willing to stop or do something to protect and save our mother nature.
But when this pandemic and other disaster happened people started caring for their mother nature because this disaster made them realize the importance of the nature and importance of human life itself.

Practising pranayama daily will help to fight with the COVID -19 infections
So this thing also proves that humans don’t believe in words and prevention they believe in practical or we can say until unless they don’t experience they won’t believe in anything. Here, in this case, it clearly justifies the above-mentioned statement.
And the other case of which we all are aware that this deadly virus (COVID-19) which affects the human respiratory functions so badly that it leads to respiratory failure and death. After detailed research done by our great scientist all over the world, it was believed that practising pranayama daily will help to fight with the COVID -19 infections.
As this statement flashed the yoga which is our traditional workout being followed since centuries became a talk of the year. People who used to say that the Importance of Yoga is not at all beneficial and in nothing in front of these advanced workouts has changed their perspective.
Now people are being so conscious about their because of fear they are having inside of losing their life before time, so each and every person is now being connected to the practice of yoga in their daily life. Here, this clearly proves my above-mentioned statement i.e. whatever happens, happens for good.

How yoga is Important in fighting with the Coronavirus?
The WHO declared that if we want to fight for our life from this deadly virus than practising pranayama and yoga asanas will provide a great contribution because it is shown that people who have a strong immune and respiratory functions the chances of healing are more compared to people having a weak system.
It was also declared that people having a great history of diseases are higher in risk as a comparison to people with no such medical history. So people started working on themselves by practising yoga asana, pranayama, cardio workouts etc. to stay away from CORONA.

Which the main asana must be included while practising yoga?
- Pranayama; in the whole yoga system, the pranayama plays a very vital role and is very important to improve our respiratory functions. Pranayama includes full yogic breathing, kapalabhati and Anuloma viloma.
Atleast two pranayama must be practiced regulary for 20 to 30 minutes daily.
- Sarvangasana: This asana which is also known as shoulder stand is very important to boost our immunity. As this asana activates our thyroid gland and improves the blood circulation all over the body.
- Half spinal twist; people who are diabetic or is on a borderline of being a diabetic are at higher risk during this pandemic. Because the immunity of a diabetic is at least level due to which their healing power is very less. Practising this asana will help them build their immunity and controlling their sugar levels.
- Sun Salutation; This is the most interesting and effective asana of yoga. This asana is considered as the backbone of all asanas. This is because this asana works as a warming exercise to prepare yourself from doing all other asanas. This asana has lots of benefits and is very helpful in building up your immunity power.

You must practice daily 10 to15 rounds of sun salutation before doing any other workout or asanas. (1 round= left+ right leg)
There are many more asanas but these three are some basic asanas which you can practice on your own.
In Conclusion, I will suggest that the Importance of Yoga will not be felt in one day it’s a long journey and to accomplish this you have to be regular on this path of healthy life because yoga shows its result slowly but it is worth giving your time. So keep practising and stay healthy.
