More than 3000 vaccinated during special drive in Jammu

Jammu, May 17:

More than 3,000 left out people across Jammu district in 45 plus category responded and took their first jab for covid-19 on Sunday in response to the district administration’s special drive for the purpose.

The district administration had set up 100 vaccination centres across the district for the purpose on May 16
Earlier , Deputy Commissioner , Jammu, Anhul Garg had appealed to all the people who had not got their first jab in 45 plus category to avail the opportunity. Till then more than 98 per cent of the people in the district had got their first dose of vaccine for Covid-19.

Anshul Garg has thanked the people for their enthusiastic response to his appeal .
The vaccine is regarded as anti-dote to the virus that has gripped the country .
