People’s Democratic Party has convened a meeting of its political affairs committee to decide whether to take part in the proposed all-Party meet in New Delhi on June 24 .
The PDP president Mehbooba Mufti will chair the meeting wherein all the issues concerning J&K, particularly in reference to the situation obtaining in Jammu and Kashmir following the August 5, 2019 decision of scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35 A would be discussed threadbare. It will also take into account the current crisis of the people and their miseries in absence of the political institutions in J&K .
Sources said that Mehbooba Mufti who is among top eight leaders of J&K who have been sent the invite for the meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister will discuss all the pros and cons of joining the talks or otherwise.
She is the loudest pro-Article 370 and wants to take a stand that goes with the aspirations of the people .
